Pushup Challenge

Challenge: Follow and document one of three routes in the six week 100 pushup Program; test yourself at the end of 6 weeks.

Time: 1 March – 8 April Document your work on a spreadsheet, notebook, Smartphone app, or online. Reward: At the end of six weeks, you will notice a difference in your stamina, strength, and overall fitness level.

Test yourself Friday 8 April 1700 at the Health & Fitness Center for a final push up contest. Share your story and show off your results. We will have prizes and giveaways for the beginner, intermediate, and advance categories. Where you fall will depend on how many pushups you can do on 8 April. The push-up goals to shoot for are 10 beginners; 30 intermediate and 60+ advanced. And the standard will be the “honest” push up. The honest push up is touch and go and your body should “kiss’ the ground.

Don’t worry if you can't do an honest push up by 8 April. Progression is key and will also be rewarded. Be sure to perform the initial test and test again for week three. Also bring your homework i.e. spreadsheet, notebook, or Smartphone app.
